Forgiving and Forgetting

The Unforgiving Servant

In Mathew 18: 21-35, we read The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant, where a King having a pity on his servant forgave all his debts, however this servant when he found one of his old debtor (who owed him few money) confronted and made him a prisoner without showing any mercy with which he himself was pardoned.

When king heard about it he was furious and put all the debts back into the account of this unforgiving servant.

When Jesus finished the story he said to Peter, “My heavenly Father has forgiven your great debt of sin; but if you refuse from your heart to forgive the wrong-doings of those who sin against you, neither will my heavenly Father forgive your great sins against him.”

Have we forgiven people who did anything against us, remember heavenly father observes it, if you show mercy to someone you too will be shown mercy by our heavenly father.
